I always forget how sneaky the Leonora Johnson hunt is until I'm back in Los Santos doing it again. Fifty scraps sounds fine on paper, then you realise half your time is spent squinting at rooftops and alleys. If you're also trying to keep your playthrough moving (and maybe topping up your wallet for ammo and upgrades), it helps to have a few no-drama pickups in your pocket; GTA 5 Money tips aside, these five scraps are the kind you can snag fast and move on.

1) The green-roof industrial shed

Start simple. Head into the industrial side of town and look for a small, standalone building with a battered green roof. It stands out once you're nearby. The scrap is right on top, no helicopter required. Jog up to the wall, hop, grab the ledge, and pull yourself up. You'll see the little glow straight away. In and out in seconds, assuming you don't get distracted by a random NPC argument on the street.

2) The tiny offshore rock island

Next, give yourself a breather and head for the water. There's a small rocky island just off the coast that feels like it got left behind by the map designer. No people, no fuss. Steal a jet ski, take a dinghy, or just swim if you're close and stubborn. Once you land, scramble up the uneven rocks and keep your eyes low. The scrap is sitting right on the ground, like someone dropped it and never came back. It's weirdly calm out there.

3) Backyard porch in a quiet neighbourhood

This one's almost too easy, which is why people miss it. Find the house in a sleepy residential area and slip around back. You're looking for the back porch steps, right by the rear door. The scrap is just sat there, no climbing, no puzzles, just casual trespassing. Grab it and jog off before anyone decides to make a scene. If you do get a wanted star, it's usually the kind you can lose by turning two corners.

4) Dumpster dive and the crane climb

Two more, both straightforward, one a bit grim. For the alley scrap, roam a commercial backstreet until you spot a big open dumpster packed with black bin bags. Climb onto the lip and step down onto the rubbish to pick up the letter piece. Then save some time for the construction site downtown: the one with the huge yellow crane. Climb the ladders all the way up to the top platform. It takes ages, and your thumb'll feel it, but the scrap is waiting at the top with a proper skyline view.
