Enjoy the game by completing preparation steps and gathering resources.
You leave the room with all of the collected arc raiders coins. Your character gets wiped and your inventory is almost completely removed. But you get to keep some of the most useful items.
If you have completed the required tasks and reached the level in Projects, then you can send the character on a mission. Arc Raiders will not force you to go on an adventure. But the rewards will surely spark your curiosity.
Pros: fresh experiences, exclusive rewards, flexibility, no coercion.
Cons: Loss of items and levels. You need to prepare ahead.
The last Expedition phase ended December 22, 2025. A new wipe is due in 60 day.
The system operates in cycles that last approximately every two-months. You'll be given enough time to get ready, collect resources, complete all the requirements and decide whether you want to go. After sending, your character is reset but some account information will remain. Starter Bundle allows you to get ready for your very first expedition.

Arc Raiders Expedition Preparedness
The preparation of the Arc Raiders journey is a complex procedure that involves leveling and resource gathering as well as investing in caravans. The first step to unlocking Expeditions is to reach level 20. Once you have reached this, the Projects tab in the Rider menu will show unlocked Expeditions. You can start the process by activating the Expedition Project. Next, you'll need to farm all the necessary resources on each level.
Invested material is not refundable. Therefore, be sure to have everything ready before shipping. It is better if you finish your work early than to rush the final day.
As a novice in Arc Raiders you should focus your attention on the most basic of activities, including crafting, clearing up maps, upgrading weaponry, and Leveling. Arc Raiders Expedition Preparedness Stages
After you've reached the required skill level, start collecting Arc Raiders Expedition resources, building a caravan, preparing gear, and loading up supplies. In total, there are five stages of preparation:

When the seven-day time window opens and all conditions have met, it is time to leave. The Arc Raiders mission confirms your character's reset. The wipe may appear to be complete, but not everything is lost. This is what will reset, and what will stay, after your Arc Raiders Expedition car departs.
A new phase begins after you confirm the Expedition. Your unlocked visuals and experience will let you replay earlier content faster. Expedition progress can be saved, however, you might not receive seasonal rewards until next cycle if your departure window is missed.

What is Arc Raiders Expedition Project?
Expedition Project, a soft-wipe personal system, allows you to begin anew while retaining your cosmetics titles and account rewards. It's entirely optional, and it is up to you when to reset.
When can Arc Raiders start an Expedition?
Start the Expedition Project once your Raider has reached level 20 and the Projects option is available in the main Menu. Start preparing for the Expedition Project as soon as you unlock Projects on the main menu.

Yes. The upgrades for your stash, craft, and workshop will be reset once you leave. Only cosmetics and visuals account-wide remain.
