Arc Raiders Eyes on the Prize guide: bring 3 Wires, reach the blue-tarp rooftop in Buried City, and repair the solar box fast-no extraction needed.

A lot of players make Tian Wen's Eyes on the Prize harder than it needs to be. Not because the quest is packed with enemies, but because they drop into Buried City unprepared and then waste half the raid fixing that mistake. Before you queue up, pull three Wires from your stash and keep them on you. Don't rely on finding them on the fly, even if ARC Raiders Items like basic crafting parts usually turn up all over the place. This is one of those tasks where two minutes of prep at base saves you a messy, stressful run later.

Head for the right section

Once the match starts, move toward the south-west side of Buried City. The area you want sits just west of Southern Station, inside that packed block of buildings where every rooftop seems to connect to something else. That's where people get turned around. The map doesn't really spell it out, and from street level it all blends together. If you're not sure you're close, look up more than you look ahead. The objective isn't tucked into a shop or alley. It's above you, and that changes how you need to search.

Spot the rooftop marker

The easiest way to confirm you're in the right place is the blue tarp. You'll see it hanging over a rooftop terrace that looks like a tiny Raider setup wedged between taller buildings. Getting there can be awkward. You may need to climb one structure, hop a gap, then pull yourself onto another ledge before you can cross over. It's not hard once you've seen the route, but the first time can feel weirdly fiddly. Go slow. This section has long sightlines, and if a patrol catches you while you're balancing on some narrow edge, you're in trouble fast.

Finish the objective

When you make it onto the tarp-covered roof, check the middle of the camp. You'll find a solar panel setup connected to a damaged electrical box. Walk up to it, use the interact prompt, and spend the three Wires to repair the connection. That's it. No big fight, no extra step, no hidden follow-up. The moment the panel powers back on, the quest updates immediately. You don't even need to survive the raid or make it to extraction for the objective to count, which is honestly the one forgiving part of the whole thing.

Why this quest trips people up

What catches most players isn't danger, it's hesitation. They second-guess the location, circle the wrong buildings, or arrive with empty pockets and have to start looting under pressure. Once you know the rooftop and remember the Wires, the mission becomes one of the quicker jobs in Buried City. It's basically a lesson in traversal, awareness, and not overthinking the route. If you're helping a friend through it, or you just want the run to feel smoother, something like an ARC Raiders Carry Run can take some of the pressure off while you focus on reaching the roof and getting the panel fixed early in the match.
