GTA Online is heading into late May 2026 with the sort of weekly reset that still gets players logging in, even if they've owned GTA 5 for years. There's cash to chase, cars to test, and a few short-window picks that'll vanish with the next refresh. If you're saving for upgrades, businesses, or just trying not to waste GTA 5 Money, this May 28 to June 3 update is worth checking before you buy anything big.
What pays best this week
The standout earner is Lamar Contact Missions, paying 5x GTA$ and RP for the week. That's the easy headline. You don't need a complex setup, and most players already know the rhythm of these jobs. Money Fronts Money Laundering Missions sit just behind at 4x GTA$ and RP, so they're a solid pick if you'd rather mix in newer business work. Community Combat Series, Mr. Faber Work, and Random Transform Races are all paying 2x GTA$ and RP. There's also a cleaner little task: finish three Hands On Car Wash Legal Missions and you'll get GTA$100,000. Not huge money, no, but it's simple enough to fold into a session.
The Komoda is the car people will notice
The Lampadati Komoda is the Diamond Casino podium vehicle from May 28 to June 3, which makes it the week's most obvious free-car target. Normally, it costs GTA$1,700,000 at Legendary Motorsport, with a GTA$1,275,000 trade price unlocked after completing The Diamond Casino Heist Finale as leader with the Komoda selected. It's a four-door Sports car based mainly on the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, and it's not just garage filler. Fully upgraded, its tested top speed is listed at 123.50 mph, with a tested lap time of 1:04.165. It's not armored in any serious way, though. One missile or explosive hit will usually end the fun, so don't treat it like a Toreador.
Limited showroom buys and discounts
Simeon's showroom is carrying the Bravado Verlierer, Enus Cognoscenti, Hijak Ruston, Western Cliffhanger, and Western Wolfsbane. Several of those are marked as unavailable after the refresh, so collectors should move early. The LS Car Meet test rides also include temporary purchase chances for the Grotti Stinger, Übermacht Oracle XS, and Vulcar Fagaloa. For discounts, the Hands On Car Wash Property and Smoke on the Water Dispensary are 40% off. The Heavy Rifle is 50% off at the Gun Van, while GTA+ members get 40% off the Military Rifle. A long list of vehicles and aircraft is 30% off too, including the Terrorbyte, Cavalcade XL, Howard NX-25, Vestra, Brioso 300, Previon, Penumbra FF, and Sea Sparrow.
GTA+ perks and player planning
GTA+ members on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced have benefits running until June 10. The free vehicle is the Übermacht Sentinel GTS, with GTA$500,000, an extra Lucky Wheel spin, free CEO and VIP abilities, taxi services, and several Vinewood Club perks. Import/Export Sell Missions and Special Vehicle Work pay 2x for members, while Junk Energy Skydives pay 4x. One thing players shouldn't ignore is the May 14 resale cap. Expensive cars now top out at GTA$500,000 resale value, and selling several vehicles in one week drops returns hard. So, before spinning for the Komoda, buying discounts, or looking at cheap GTA 5 Money options, check what's free, what's temporary, and what you'll actually use.
